MEET PASTOR KEDRICK T. LOWERY & HIS TEAM

Grace Church of Durham's Faithful Servants

And God said unto me, ‘My grace is sufficient for thee…’ Could this promise be for me even when my back is against the wall? Truthfully, can God assure me of “unmerited favor” when hope has been evicted out of my life because my faith seems to be failing, my finances are at best flaky, and/or my relationships are falling apart?

Come meet a man who, at the well of your circumstance, will offer you living water so that you never have to thirst again!

On Sunday, September 5, 2004, a concentration of the Presence of God (“The Shekinah”) took up residence at the Rogers-Herr Middle School in Durham, North Carolina. A product of the growing ministries of Winston-Salem’s Greater Cleveland Avenue Christian Church where Bishop Sheldon M. McCarter serves as Senior Pastor/Teacher, Grace Church of Durham began under the capable and anointed leadership of Dr. Kedrick T. Lowery, (former) Youth Pastor of GCACC.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge the Lord and He SHALL direct your path." - Proverbs 3:5

Dr. Lowery is married to Dr. Siti Lowery and is the eldest son of Elder Raiford and Evangelist Arneita Hairston. Born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he completed his formal educational training in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Public Schools and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University where his involvements and awards included the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, “Ebony Man of the Year and “Outstanding Undergraduate Male” distinctions. He later continued his studies at Oral Roberts University culminating with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling. Dr. Lowery earned and obtained his Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary. He specialized in Social Justice and Political Activism.

Dr. Lowery accepted the call to ministry in 1992 and has since served as Youth Director, Bishop’s Adjutant and Youth Pastor. A 2000 graduate of the Winston-Salem Class of Leadership and a 2001 Black Achievers Award recipient, Pastor Lowery personifies seven years of practical, full-time ministry experience alongside and impressive skill set that is underpinned by remarkable humility. He has been gifted with the unique ability to communicate a message that transcends cultural, socioeconomic and generational barriers. Faithful, available and teachable, the under-shepherd of Grace Church has been sent “…to preach good tidings unto the meek…to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”

Dr. Lowery submits to the leadership of Bishop McCarter who serves as his mentor and Spiritual Father. He believes a reason God has abundantly blessed him is his understanding and application of authority and order. Dr. Lowery has presented the Word throughout North and South Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, West Virginia and Oklahoma. He lives by the Scripture, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge the Lord and He SHALL direct your path.”
